Faro bikers’ rally attracts 25,000

Around 25,000 bikers were in Faro last week for the town’s famous bikers’ rally, a number which organisers say “exceeded expectations”.

The event, organised by the Moto Clube de Faro, has been hailed a massive success, with no reports of any issues.

In fact, Faro mayor Rogério Bacalhau says this just goes to show “the peaceful nature of an event that is considered one of the biggest biker rallies in the world”.

Special care was put into making the venue at Vale das Almas more appealing this year, a measure which the council applauded.
